Core Values

We will work together as a team and with other school personnel in all areas. We will accept responsibility for student progress and accountability for student growth.

We will encourage students to take responsibility for learning and demonstrate leadership responsibilities within the classroom environment.

We will provide an inviting, kind and nurturing learning environment with relevant but rigorous lessons. We will differentiate learning by implementing small group instruction.

School History

West End School was built in 1922 where Mrs. Rhyne was the first principal. After the 1970 consolidation and redistricting, Kindergarten classes were added and the school was renamed "West Elementary."
